During our expedition to Venezuela almost 15 years ago we found a very strange form of Heliamphora nutans on Tramen Tepui. This plant does not grow on the plateau of Tramen Tepui but on a step at about half of the altitude. After all these years we still are not really sure whether this is only a form of H. nutans or indeed should be treated as a new species. Like other forms of Heliamphora nutans this one is not an easy grower in cultivation. Please note that these pictures are fairly old and werde shot with quite basic equipment. I did my best to enhance them digitally but they are still not so perfect - sorry.
