Nepenthes ephippiata Dans.

Nepenthes ephippiata, is related to N. lowii, as can easily seen by studying the photographs on this page. However, many features easily justify the specific rank. N. ephippiata has bigger pitchers, that are waisted far less than the ones of N. lowii. The most prominent characteristic, however is the huge lid.
