The pitcher of an adult N. ephippiata in the wild is incredible.
What a species! We are very proud to have introduced this phantastic species into cultivation several years ago after a fairly big expedition into Central Borneo. Certainly, N. ephippiata for the genus Nepenthes is like Heliamphora ionasi for Heliamphora - the ultimate development in shape and size!
A "must" for a collection of highland Nepenthes.
The only relative to the fascinating N. lowii. Bigger than N. lowii and fairly easy.
