While the vast majority of species grows in Indonesia, Malaysia and on the Philippines, there are some species that occur elswhere. E.g. Nepenthes pervillei is found on the Seychelles, N. khasiana in India and N. madagascariensis as well as N. masoalensis in Madagascar.
