Nepenthes maxima (G. Lumut,Sulawesi)
Nepenthes maxima (Sulawesi - wavy leaves)
Wavy leaves. Very nice and easy plants.
Cultivation
It belongs to the more easy (=’intermediate’) highland species. These grow nicely under a big variety of conditions and are quite tolerant to higher temperatures. They should, however receive a good deal of light.
As a substrate I’d suggest a more open mix. Good components for such mixes are Sphagnum-moss, horticultural perlite, pine bark plus a bit of peat moss. Drainage is recommended.
